The joy of owning a classic or retro bike is the ability to go for a ride with buddies and showing off your cherished collector’s item. Bikes in the Park is the perfect event for that, and the best is that it is for a good cause, supporting men’s health with funds raised at the event being donated to the DGR charity.

Forest Fever Farm Stall refreshment time…

On a fresh Saturday morning all the dapper dressed ladies and gents, gathered at Doppio Zero in Mbombela for coffee and to admire the collection of bikes and snazzy outfits, after chats the group rode via White River to the Fever Tree Farm Stall in Kiepersol for refreshments, banter and a leg stretch. The group was led by a classic Honda Traffic Police bike with sirens blaring with owner Chris Jonker suitable dressed in a traffic cop uniform.

“Polisie Man”

Bohm’s Zeederberg Country Lodge was the lunch spot where a big table under the trees saw participants getting to know each other and after a scrumptious meal, prize giving was a fun affair with prizes being awarded to best dressed, best classic bike etc.
